ARISE! Summer camp DAY 2

We started the morning with praise in the chapel! On Tuesday, we received a teaching from our special guest, David! We focused on carrying your cross and different hardships that we can go through, and what can help us get through them. We made posters that discuss this topic and got to see the kids and teens interact on how they want to carry their cross and help with each other’s burdens. We enjoyed a nice snack, and then we went into rehearsal. We practiced the songs during our morning rehearsal block. We had mac ’n cheese for lunch, which was very good! After our quiet time, we had a break outside. I (Parker) got to do a lot of colouring with the kids, and I (Adam) played chain tag outside with the other kids and teens. We had a beautiful time of ministry and adoration. I (Adam) got to be in a prayer team together with Tim. We got to pray over some of the guys. We received a personal blessing with the Blessed Sacrament. Thank you, Fr. Andrew, for being present! After we prepared the afternoon snack, we had our big group rehearsal. Everyone got to rehearse the first song of the musical while we got to sit and watch since we are both stage tech crew! We closed the day in prayer.
