ARISE! Summer camp DAY 1

On Monday morning, our parents dropped us off, and we went to the chapel. We had a great time of praise and worship! We glorified God and sang songs. We had a teaching from Cissy about our calling and how to follow St. Francis and Jesus in their footsteps. Then we learned our first song, which was so fun and upbeat! It should have been Broadway music!! For lunch, we had delicious quesadillas with extremely sweet mandarin oranges. It was delicious! We had quiet time after lunch, which was helpful in a big day of learning a musical and hanging out with friends. Then we ran around outside and played gaga ball during break. 3 of our leaders have bible checker hats, and they quiz us on the verse of the day. When you get it right, you can get a prize! After break, the girls learned this really complicated dance that was really fun, and Willemijn was so impressed that we learned it all in an hour and a half! The boys learned their dance after us, and it was so good! Then we divided into our small groups and talked about the day.
