ARISE! Summer Camp DAY 3

During morning worship, we sang one of my (Lou) favorite songs, Praise! After praise, we had an awesome bible teaching with a skit and a daily visit from Wolf and Parrot. We had a good snack, and during snack time we had time to draw in our camp journals and color the bible verses. After this, we worked on the ‘Repair My House’ dance, which is really fun! We made a temple out of our heads. If you want to understand the context, come watch the performance!! For lunch, we had corn on the cob, an orange, and quesadillas with ham and cheese made by our wonderful cooks. It was delicious! We took a very helpful quiet time and went straight back into rehearsal to continue our dance. After a little break in between, we went into our last rehearsal block where some of us learned a smaller part of the ‘Repair My House’ dance for the start. It was really complicated but really fun! We put it all together at the end of the day. And then at the end of the day, we had a really fun water Olympics! We split into teams, and we played relay races with water balloons and moving pictionary. It was fun, cool, AND exciting! We had a GREAT time!
